Julius stumbled into art really accidentally (the accidental artist?) in 2007 when he resigned from work while waiting for a job overseas. In that short span of time he produced assemblage pieces which were exhibited locally. He had been teaching archival b/w photography, history of photography and alternative photography in a multi-media collage in his country earlier. His b/w and Vandyke prints were shown at the cultural center and other private galleries. With shortage of proper b/w chemicals and photographic papers, he decided to go back to collage. Collage has limitless possibilities. And as Donald Barthelme put it "... the technique in collage is the central technique of all art in the 20th century..."
