Inner_Spaces New Season Opening

  • Auditorium San Fedele (map)

On Monday, January 26, we open the new season of Inner_Spaces with an evening that marks a turning point: a debut weaving together electronic music, contemporary dance, and new forms of perception.

At the heart of the evening is Poème Symphonique, a brand-new performance that brings dance to the Inner_Spaces stage for the first time, featuring choreographer and dancer Fanny Sage—well known in the contemporary scene and deeply connected to the world of fashion—alongside composer Jonathan Fitoussi.

Fitoussi reinterprets Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 “Titan” through the sensibility of modular synthesizers, while Sage’s choreography transforms sound into gesture, tension, and physical presence. A rare encounter, conceived specifically for the acousmatic space of San Fedele.

The evening opens with an equally original work: Robert Schwarz explores the micro-sonic architectures of insect communication, translating vibrations, rhythms, and natural synchronizations into an immersive acoustic landscape that expands listening beyond the human.

A season opening that affirms the vocation of Inner_Spaces: crossing languages, expanding perception, and creating new resonances between body, space, and sound.
