Blanca Miró

Spanish artist Blanca Miró’s work takes on a contemporary approach to cubism. Most of her work involves the female body and creates a dichotomy between the sharp, severe lines and the overall fluidity. This sense of parataxis rejects any idealized or stereotyped notions of the female body and, instead, emphasizes the beauty in each form.

The artist was born and raised in Barcelona and started off her artistic career in illustration. She has now extended her work into pattern design for apparel, art direction, fine arts, and film and animation. She is currently collaborating with blacksmiths on her new collection of chairs.
