Brad Phillips

Writer, photographer, and artist Brad Phillips was born in 1974 in Toronto, Ontario. His paintings are photorealist and are usually based off of his own photography. His works deal with grim, esoteric themes in a masochist, erotic manner. Soft and delicate objects and images alike are broken down and reconstructed in ominous settings. Phillips’ work has been featured in several major publications such as the New York Times Magazine and Purple Diary. He is also a regular contributor at several journals such as The Art Book Review, ArtSlant, and Adult Magazine. He is currently based in Ontario.
