Starting May 20th and continuing until June 25th, contemporary art gallery, TARO NASU, in Tokyo, is presenting Futo Akiyoshi’s new series “something too much”. Akiyoshi concentrates on the tools of painting in his new series, maximizing the number of tools he uses for each painting in contrast to the use of a single color in each work. The diverse array of textures coexists with the single color allowing for an exaggerated symbiosis between the two.
