Fashion stylists In Caves
As part of Felix Gaertner’s ongoing, international portrait project called„Fashion Stylists in Caves he followed Sophie Giannoules - and her mum - deep into one of Germany’s top five caves near both their hometown of Stuttgart. Twenty thousand years ago this magical place was shelter to mammoths and European cave lions - today internet is still slow in there, but it provided them with endless opportunities to stage and celebrate Sophie’s fabulous, thrift-shop-infused, personal style. Cowboy-chic denim and boots, pantsuits accentuated by blaring red feathery heels, a fiery ensemble completed with trekking poles: the shoot flaunts a clear eye for modern lavishness detailed by layered prints and textures amidst a historical site dating back to the ice age.
