It’s something past midnight and you are strolling through a hushed, lamp-lit street. You are unsure of which city you are in, but you’re not dubious… quite the opposite actually. You unanticipatedly stumble across a restaurant, written above the door on a sign is something in Chinese. You’re not too sure why, but you step inside. You remind yourself that the restaurant looks comparable to the one you’ve seen before in a Wong Kar Wai movie. The atmosphere is mystifying, the luminous lights are intense and the background music is romantic. You identify a tall, dark haired female, she’s unattended, she’s intriguing and you suddenly begin to wonder… Who is this woman? What is she doing here? Who is she meeting? Which city are we in?
