What did you learn and where do you come from?
I`ve tried out a lot of things in the most different ways. Frankfurt am Main.

Why Berlin?
Why not!

What do you think of Chancelor Angela Merkel?
I love her suits.

What was one sentence or comment your mother said, that you will always remember (and why)?

"It is what it is". I never could relate to pragmatism and it took me quite a while to understand that concept. It was too abstract for me to deal with something in a rational and wise way that suits the conditions due to my idealistic and impulsive personality, but I’m almost there. That approach to problems and situations based on practical solutions helps me a lot these days.

How would you decribe your work and aesthetics?

I do what I do and work intuitively without exception. How could I put this in words  - my medium is photography. I express myself with imagery, not written texts. Everyone is always looking for explanations but it’s not about info, it's about feelings. Basically, I never had the urge to explain myself or what I'm doing, if I’m honest. It restrains me. I also have no claim to point out something or educate people with my work. I do it for myself. What defines creative work/art is inexplicable feelings and magic/enchantment. It's a lost cause, if you try to describe everything in detail.

The different perceptions of people are anyway as unique as fingerprints. Everyone can pull out what is relevant to them - or not. Everyone reflects on it in their own way. I think it’s completely ok. Even if you ultimately don’t understand my work and thereby not appreciate it. It is a constant process of further development - what I see in my own pictures today may have a completely different message tomorrow. In conclusion, I would say I follow my own rules from the beginning. Somehow autistically. I've tried to specify the direction for myself though - some time ago when I was asked how I would describe my aesthetics: „Straight edge romanticism, superficial but deep“. I still find it quite appropriate.

You are a super beautiful strong, a dope-ass angel- and villain lady: What does age mean for you as a woman and as a Creative in todays world?

Age is of no importance, unless you are a cheese.

What artist or creative inspires you the most these days?

There is too much content out there, it's tedious to filter everything. I have reached my limit. Mostly it blocks me more than it inspires me. I´m impressed by kindness, intellect + attitude- regardless of whether it is an artist or not. I love authenticity - normal people and random situations. I`m very much inspired by daily life. In fact i can pull out inspiration from many, apparently uninteresting moments. Doom, Abysm and fetishism related to relgion and sexuality are however always inspiring sections as well.

But i`m an admirer of Gerhard Richter and his theses about grey. Entirely concur that grey is an important color, the ideal color for disagreement, refusal to testify, silence, hopelessness. Grey is a repeating element in my work either.

Future is … (finish the sentence)

…an enlightened aftermath.
