Nico Vascellari was born in 1976 in Italy and is a visual artist. Vascellari’s incorporation of sound in his works is attributed to his background in punk rock bands. Rather than identify as a musician, the artist prefers to see it through a sound and social activism lens due to his involvement with underground culture alongside his music. Vascellari’s work seamlessly combine music, performance, and visual art in a seamless and coherent manner. His art seeks to arise discomfort both among viewers and himself as the artist creating the works.
