Familial daily torture, pesky cucumbers and ubiquitous sartorial delinquency.

Can you define the style of your work?

A rejection of coherence and a questioning of cultural conventions.

What are your main influences?

Inspired by the ordinary - a love of rearranging commodities using vague criticisms on belonging, cynicism and the spirit of the times!

You primarily use oil on canvas - why do you enjoy to use this medium?

Because to me an oil painting is never finished, its an open-ended medium, its manipulative, what makes painting interesting is starting over each time, there is no congruence.

But just before you enquired I switched to vinegar....

What is your process from concept to finished piece?

Navigating objectification, oppression and lots of cigarettes. My work is created by various images I look at and that I have registered with contradictory subjects, I’m looking for suggestions of images in comparison to one another.

Influences of everyday life, influence paintings.

How does your work fit into the London art scene?

Power to the bourgeois millennial construct of promotions oneself online and art created solely to exist on computers.

Painting isn’t dead.

Do you have any upcoming exhibitions/projects you are currently working towards?

Painting, Smoking, Eating.
