Rewire Festival 15th anniversary edition.
The full programme for Rewire's 15th anniversary edition is confirmed. Twenty-five new artists and projects join a weekend in The Hague that is, by any measure, the festival's most ambitious to date. Surrounding the music and performance programme, the context strand organises each day around a specific set of concerns: the politics and poetics of staging sound, further listening, times and territories, and instrumental ecologies. Conversations, workshops, audio walks, and listening sessions make up the format, each one asking something different about sonic attention in a time of war, colonialism, and ecological crisis. The film programme, back at Filmhuis Den Haag, brings the same urgency to daily screenings centred on ecology, tradition, and sounding.
