There is no night at Solstice. Held at the edge of the Arctic Circle during midsummer, the festival unfolds in continuous daylight, a condition that reshapes time, perception, and the logic of the dancefloor itself. The 2026 edition gathers a lineup that moves from Skee Mask, Sonja Moonear, and Mad Professor to KMRU, Verraco, LYZZA, and AceMo, alongside a deep bench of Finnish selectors who built the scene the festival grew out of. New this year is The Hut, a 150 capacity stage programmed by New York's The Lot Radio, perched on a plateau with views across miles of lakes and forest. When the hill rests at 2 AM, the after hours continue at Piste, a ski lodge at the foot of the fell in Ruka Village. Beyond the music, an open call art program commissions emerging artists to produce site specific works that answer to the landscape and the social fabric of the gathering. Reachable by charter bus from Helsinki, Solstice is less an escape from the city than an extension of it, relocated to a place where light refuses to leave.
