TABLEAU is taking over Copenhagen this week in more ways than one.
From June 10–12, the Copenhagen-based studio has six projects running simultaneously across the city during 3 Days of Design: a pavilion with Iittala and Hydro marking 90 years of the Alvar Aalto Vase, a marble and onyx furniture series with Bloc Studios, an exhibition on waste-based materials treated with the same seriousness as bronze or glass, and a show built entirely around the ritual of the coffee cup.
Each project is a different collaboration, a different space, a different question. Together they make a strong case for what a design studio can be when it's not just selling a signature aesthetic.
