Billed as The Most Italian Cinematic Showcase, Tuttaunanotte borrows its title from Chantal Akerman’s 1982 film Toute une nuit. The project started at the e-flux Screening Room in New York in 2025 and grows with every new chapter, adding films and voices each time it travels.

The invited artists are Italian in many ways: by birth, by adoption, by proximity, by transit or simply by chance. Their works share a collaborative spirit, and the curators like to call the group a constellation system in place of a star system. Colonial history, identity and desire run through the selection.

Programme 1 brings together Unpredictable Atmosphere by Lucia Rebolino and Riccardo Petrini, PINK! Is the Warmest Colour by Atelier dell’Errore, It’s All About Light (To Joseph Plateau) / 2 by Anna Franceschini, Fuzzy Dice by RM, Garden of Earthly Delights II by Ciccio, Cinema Impero by Muna Mussie and Unglued by Sopraterra, the duo of Magda Drozd and Nicola Genovese. Programme 2 follows at 5:45 pm and closes with a conversation between the curators and the artists Pauline Curnier Jardin, Tomaso De Luca and Muna Mussie.
