“Utterly Lazy and Inattentive” — a title cheekily borrowed from one of his school reports — tells the story of a distracted schoolboy who changed the way we see the world. It’s a journey through a changing era, from steam trains to junk food, and a revolution in photography, from black and white to colour, film to digital. Featuring over 150 photographs alongside his own memories, the book invites us to see Parr, the world, and ourselves through a wonderfully different lens.
