This edition of Feeric Fashion Week runs from the Immersive Museum to a rooftop car park, through the Boromir Factory and the Highway Factory, out to the village of Porumbacu de Sus, and finally into Huet Square for the gala. Designers arrive from Romania and Moldova, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Lebanon, Egypt, Uzbekistan, India, and China.

What they share is a way of working. Rescued garments from Humana. Deadstock silk and natural latex. Wool left behind after shearing in Kosovo. Handwoven linens made sixty years ago in a Romanian village. Mycelium grown into a material and then cut by laser. Nearly everything here begins with matter that already had a life.

The week opens with women over 35 walking for Cardinalia Models in vintage sourced by Dharug, and closes with a gala where a Lebanese suit collection, a Lithuanian love letter, and an Uzbek suzani painted by hand meet on the same square. In between, students from more than twenty schools present graduate collections built on grandmothers, myth, brutalism, Kafka, punch cards, and the red thread of fate. Sibiu gives them the buildings. They give the city back a week of close looking.

Feeric opens inside the Immersive Museum, where two ideas of value meet on one runway. Cardinalia Models works with women over 35, an agency built on the conviction that presence accumulates. Their stride carries years, and the clothes read differently because of it. Dharug answers with a wardrobe assembled by hunt: rare finds, vintage that has survived several turns of taste, and young labels worth backing early. Dharug will soon stock pieces by designers found through Feeric Fashion Week, turning the runway into a supply line for the next generation. Andrew Christian styles the show, pulling both worlds into a single line of thought.

Jeremy Oury's Exo-Cortex fills the room around them. A voice leads the audience into a hypnotic, dreamlike introspection, opening a channel with a digital entity that asks what perception now owes to the machines handling it. Memory, attention, and consciousness pass through technology before they reach us, and Oury makes that passage audible. The work leaves a question in the air about what it means to live alongside a digital extension of the self.

About the artist: Jeremy Oury (France, based in Mexico City) works across sound and image to build immersive mappings, fulldome films, and digital installations. His work has been awarded at international mapping and fulldome festivals since 2014.

Alexander College arrives at Feeric for the first time with second-year Fashion Design students and graduate designer Thaleia Kosta. The students work from what a city throws away: plastic bottles and bags, wood remnants, coffee capsules, rebuilt into experimental surfaces and sculptural garments with a hard visual identity. Zaha Hadid's architectural language guides the volumes, while environmental urgency and personal histories carried from Ukraine give the work its weight. Thalia Kosta presents Memories, drawn from Cypriot tradition, family, and cultural symbols. Knitwear techniques and inventive fabric treatments turn each garment into a vessel of remembrance, holding the conversation between memory, craft, and storytelling.

Who is the Divine Human in the twenty-first century? UFEG graduates and curators put that question at the centre of Homo Deus, a group collection where the digital and the physical meet the way people try to reconcile the transcendent with the earthly. The designers respond to the concerns of leading thinkers and philosophers: what biotechnology and artificial intelligence are making of us, what fashion means once the real and the virtual meet, how inner essence takes shape through new forms and materials. Galala University reads Egypt's cultural heritage through a contemporary lens, drawing on the country's architecture, landscapes, and regional traditions. Iulia Drimbea's Dawn reads Romanian folk costume in a contemporary language, turning each outfit into a visual story that connects past and present, identity and artistic expression. Romanian cultural heritage runs through the collection, and clothing becomes a carrier of symbols and collective memory.

Maria Bianca Minea's Baroque on the Field puts two apparently opposing worlds in the same room: the opulence of the Baroque and the functionality of contemporary sportswear. Historical motifs return inside a modern design language, showing how heritage adapts to the present. Sport-derived silhouettes and sharp details, achieved through several techniques of manipulating recycled textile, hold tradition and modernity in balance.

Marta Titea's Unbound takes on freedom and authenticity, reading bohemian aesthetics through a contemporary lens. Lightweight natural fabrics, handcrafted details, and reclaimed lace turn volume and texture into an argument for individuality and for the beauty of imperfection.

Different in inspiration, the three collections converge on the same values: respect for materials, respect for craft, respect for the story. Through recycling and reinterpretation, they offer a sustainable alternative to fast fashion.

The National University of Arts brings a curated selection of its strongest Bachelor's and Master's graduation collections to Feeric, a manifesto from a new generation of designers defining its voice through the act of making. Ugnė Černauskaitė presents Swallow, a collection drawn from functional clothing, movement, and the search for safety in a changing environment. Bomber jacket nylon meets translucent organza, utility details, and cargo pockets, treating protection as something a person carries within.

Gertrūda Sokaitė presents Jūratė, built on the Lithuanian myth of Jūratė, the Amber Castle, and the Baltic Sea. Hand-dyed silk and genuine leather hold the contrast between calm and stormy water, while amber symbolism ties the collection to the legend of forbidden love and destruction.

Tėja Macijauskaitė presents Perfokorta, drawn from the Jacquard loom punch card and its link to memory. Laser-cut and hand-made perforations in genuine leather meet cotton and silk, turning early textile technology into a poetic metaphor for how we remember.

Three designers from Arad, three emotional registers.

Tătar Karina signs Borahae, drawn from the elegance of the hanbok and read again in contemporary terms. Memory, emotion, and identity run through the collection, and each look opens a conversation between tradition and the present, in favour of authentic beauty and human connection.

Romaniuc Denis presents Scars of the Soul, a passage through the emotions that make us who we are. Fragility, inner struggle, and rebirth appear in texture, volume, and contrast, turning vulnerability into a form of strength and treating the marks we carry as evidence of healing.

Faur Antonia Cristina's Emotions works from feminine sensuality, giving emotional states a visual language. A sharp white and red contrast, together with a wide range of silhouettes, traces the route toward feminine strength. Tenderness, seduction, and disappointment each take their own garment, alongside maternal instinct and the long work of knowing oneself.

Fashion Design students at NewGiza put structure and fluidity in the same collection, working the relationship between body, fabric, and movement. Sculptural form guides the silhouettes, and the result brings contemporary lines, careful making, and personal expression onto one runway.

Metamorphosis takes its cue from the changes of state in nature, evaporation and condensation among them, and gives them artistic form. Sustainability runs at the centre of the concept, with cotton, linen, and other natural materials carrying the link to the environment. The process involved long research, experiment, and physical study of these phenomena, with draping and fabric manipulation techniques building forms that carry change and movement. The story here belongs to adaptation, and to the slow evolution of the natural world the wearer belongs to.

Harmony of Future Consciousness imagines a future where technology, humanity, and nature stay in balance. The feminine principle of creation, intuition, and change sets the tone, and the collection argues for a return to inner awareness. Made entirely from deadstock cotton, silk, chiffon, organza, natural latex, and hand-applied liquid latex, it studies how material acts on both body and mind. Soft, flowing textiles meet unconventional latex, while sculptural silhouettes rethink garment construction from the seam up. Each piece stands as a symbol of conscious evolution, an invitation to question the patterns we inherit and to build a future guided by harmony, authenticity, and respect for the natural world.

The group collection by the BA graduates of the Class of 2026 from the Fashion Design Department in Cluj-Napoca reflects the range of concepts developed across their graduation projects. Dynamic form, clear volume, and distinct stylistic directions give the ensembles their contemporary edge.

The garments are built with techniques that work the surface of the fabric: hand embroidery, textile collage, and perforation, each chosen to bring out transparency, duality, and the elegance associated with haute couture. Every piece arrives with its own character and its own identity.

The future of fashion arrives through the hands of 19 students, from 8 universities, across 3 countries: Romania, Moldova, and Poland. At the centre of the project stands a partnership with Humana, who supplied rescued garments for the students to take apart and rebuild into entirely new silhouettes, proof that a good partnership turns existing resources into new creative ground.

Developed inside Feeric Hub, Hooldra puts sustainability and invention in the same workroom, with deadstock fabric, vintage textiles, and garments given a second life. This year's manifesto, the sixth in Hooldra's run, carries the theme Visible Transformation, keeping the contrast between what a garment once was and what it has become in plain view. The collection reads as a shared manifesto for circular fashion, for collaboration, and for the next generation of design. The whole project was coordinated by Daiana Stancioiu.

The past keeps its emotional value intact, and fashion becomes a medium for memory, for presence, and for tradition read again in a contemporary setting.

Femme Serpent follows the passage from vulnerability to strength through the symbolism of the serpent. Cathedral of Bloodlines takes Gothic cathedrals and the idea that family heritage makes us who we become. Two words from two languages that grew up worlds apart: jopoi from Guarani, haide from Romanian. Hemispheres, oceans, and centuries of separate history stand between them, and still, placed side by side, the resemblance goes past easy explanation. Both carry the same call, an invitation to come along and to make something together. Each lived its whole life unaware of the other existed. Something kept them apart. Something, somehow, kept them close anyway.

Irina Silaghi and Cornel Crișan built this capsule from the textile inheritance of Cornel's grandmother, Ileana Jurj, and from the daily traditions of the Romanian village. The material carries its own age: handwoven lepedeie, wall hangings, table linens, and other natural textiles made more than sixty years ago. Geometric and floral motifs return through contemporary silhouettes, handcrafted detail, and carved wooden accessories. Heritage meets modern design here in favour of identity, sustainability, and the line running between generations, proof that tradition still has plenty to say about what comes next.

The Art of Contrast opens a dialogue between cultural heritage, artistic expression, and contemporary fashion. Time, memory, traditional craft, Art Nouveau, and Islamic ornament give the collection its references, and each one arrives translated into a modern design language. Handcrafted textiles, embroidery, lace, reconstructed material, geometric pattern, and sculptural silhouettes carry the link between past and present. Five creative perspectives come together to keep tradition alive and to read it again, arriving at new forms of identity and invention inside contemporary fashion.

The Third World of Women tells a story about beauty, that long-running business of women inside a society that often works as the theatre of their captivity. Raw fabric edges, virgin human hair, and male buttons set on the right side carry the argument, with pleasing the eye a distant second.

Costume here works as a way of telling. Each of the eight silhouettes stands for one woman from the designer's life who left a mark on who she is now and on who she wants to become: family, teachers, and women she has only ever known from a distance.

FEERIC 2026 GALA

Yulu Xia works from Yunnan, from the ethnic heritage and wild landscape that raised her. Four looks follow nature through decay and rebirth, in cotton hand-bound with Bai tie-dye, laser-cut mycelium bio-material, weathered timber, and bark. Folk craft meets biomaterial research and digital technique, and the collection makes its case for intangible heritage under threat, for fragile ecosystems, and for coexistence between people and the wilderness that surrounds them.
