It’s often said that rules are made to be broken. But Analcancer2009’s SS20 campaign rewrites the entire rulebook. The Peruvian transwear brand both distorts and disrupts heteronormative gender roles to unhinge society’s dictatorship over prescribing masculinity to men, and femininity to women. Instead, photographer Pedro Ferreira’s campaign is a bid to break conventional relationship standards and celebrate individuals whose bodies don’t conform; in a raw and honest way.

Denim skirts plastered with anal, leather straps wrapped around legs, and string-thin thongs – all confront the viewer with sex and provocation. Yet, the hardcore pornwear brand is about more than just sex. In the final photo, the two models join hands to form a love heart. Proving that while the campaign celebrates fun between-the-sheets for every sexual preference and gender identification; omnigendered love is something to be cherished.
