Ask & Embla FW25
Omnia Arcana by Ask & Embla turns to the medieval epoch as a site of tension, where Catholicism and occultism defined devotion through conflict. Here, heretics and saints are less adversaries than companions on parallel paths toward illumination. The collection insists that truth has always been concealed within contradiction, waiting to be read by those prepared to face it.
Silver and steel become relics of endurance: chains, armour, sigils, and sacred hearts refracted through Gothic and Byzantine references. Hand-finished surfaces bear the trace of imperfection, echoing relics that survived both devotion and destruction. These adornments function as more than objects of style; they are markers of defiance, charged with both secrecy and reverence.
The campaign, photographed at the Didgori Battle Memorial in Georgia, reinforces the notion of convergence, two opposing forces crossing on contested land. Alongside Gelareh Alam’s sculptural wardrobe, the jewellery finds resonance in garments equally invested in the drama of body, ritual, and myth.
Omnia Arcana acknowledges that history writes no truth without its counterweight. To wear these pieces is to inhabit contradiction, to embrace the double nature of sanctity and sacrilege. Each design acts as armour, not for battle alone, but for the soul seeking its own course through divided worlds.
