Ekmekci SS20
Ekmekci’s London Fashion Week debut SS20 collection by designer Ali Ekmekci is inspired by magic mushrooms. With this season’s work being focused on the concept of being observed, Ekmekci’s brand as a whole seeks to deconstruct witch-house music through garments that feature collages, psychedelic hand-dyed shibori prints, embroidery, intricate beadings and iridescent textures. The looks from the latest collection were shown through a performance at St. Agnes Church in London - photographed by Verity Smiley-Jones.
