GOLDRAUM 1 by Hendrik and Tom Schneider

GOLDRAUM 1 by Hendrik and Tom Schneider

On August 2, 032c Gallery opens GOLDRAUM 1, a new installation by Hendrik Schneider and Tom Schneider, with sound by Malibu. They have reworked the gallery interior into a full spatial field of gold. Surfaces carry weight, both literal and psychological. Light, tightly controlled, deepens each contour and tightens the sense of enclosure. The material’s reflectivity turns unstable, disorienting.

Malibu’s sound piece runs without interruption, it breathes with the room. Her composition stretches time and movement. The installation becomes a single, held condition. It avoids image, avoids object.

The exhibition speaks through material, through atmosphere. The gallery becomes a chamber. The effect lands in the body. Gold replaces symbol with fact.
