How would you introduce yourself?
I'm Jovel, I'm a 19 year old young creative living in New York City at the moment. I'm a model, but that just sounds narcissistic. I'm more of a face and a voice.
What word describes you the best?
Misfit.
What was the last book you read?
"If you have to cry, go outside: and other things your mother never told you about" by Kelly Cutrone. Great read 10/10 recommend, I love anything written by someone with an abrasive/shameless tone.
Would you rather have regrets or make mistakes?
I'd rather make mistakes. I don't have a lot of regrets to be honest. Everything is kind of a learning experience for me. I'm learning more about myself everyday.
What is your favourite dessert?
Ice cream. Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia. Hands down the best.
What is your hidden phobia?
Donald Trump.
Who do you look up to?
I look up to anybody being unapologetically themselves. Specifically young people-Generation Z kids. Generation Z young queer, trans, gnc kids are who I look up too. The kids who step out everyday-bold, defiant, and beautiful.
