‘Get Your Job Done’ (feat. Zara Colombo) is the first single taken from the album ‘DON’T’ by LAMUSA II set to be released on Jay Glass Dubs’ label Extended Techniques on May 17th 2024

The single encapsulates the essence of late 90s loose grunge rock and electronic music, blending distorted bass guitar, drums, and pads with the sultry tones of saxophone (played by Ben Janowitz).

Collaborating with the Italo-Argentinian singer/model Zara Colombo, Lamusa II crafts a hypnotic atmosphere with her low timbre, delivering captivating spoken word verses.

“One day I asked our friend Zara Colombo to join us and jam with his vocal on top of our music and try some spoken words/impro so we found a deep alchemy all together and we started to record some material during those sessions.”

On the screen, Colombo embarks on an infinite journey towards the viewer, her words cascading like a torrent for 4 minutes, immersing listeners in a surreal, distorted reality. The track confronts societal issues, consumerism, and unconsciousness head-on with unfiltered messages.

The accompanying visuals, captured with a wide-angle lens, offer glimpses of skateboard and fashion culture reminiscent of the 90s, bathed in deep red lighting that evokes the aesthetic of Oliver Stone’s "Natural Born Killers" movie.
