Ottolinger FW24

Ottolinger FW24

Ottolinger's latest unveiling marks a notable departure from its signature flamboyance. Under the guidance of Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient, the brand embraces a more subdued aesthetic, reimagining the essence of power dressing with nuanced sophistication.

With a deft balance of innovation and restraint, Bösch and Gadient reaffirm the brand's position at the forefront of sartorial evolution, offering a poignant reflection on the intersection of style, identity, and societal norms.

In their meticulously curated showcase, Bösch and Gadient present a harmonious fusion of deconstructed tailoring, figure-hugging knits, and distinctive textures such as faux fur and tweed. An “unfinished” blazer with elongated lining coming out of its supposed place and turning into a flowy skirt, joggers with uncanny tubular prolongations and sweatpants mixed with office attire, and chaotic styling are the dominant elements of the show.

This collection epitomizes a refined elegance, where traditional garments undergo a subtle metamorphosis, resulting in avant-garde silhouettes that challenge conventional notions of authority and style.

With a keen eye for contemporary femininity, the designers offer a designer vision of the evolving landscape of power and femininity.
