Trashy Clothing FW26
Anti-luxury and pro-provocation. Trashy Clothing showed FW26 in Paris on March 6, their first proper runway after seasons of short films. A milestone not just for the brand, but for what it represents: a queer Arab label forcing its way into fashion’s most coveted calendar on its own terms.
Mia Khalifa walked, continuing a relationship with the brand that started with a bra from AW24’s “Leaders” collection and a dress bearing her name from SS25. What began as a muse dynamic has evolved into something more intentional, her presence on the runway a co-sign that feels earned rather than borrowed.
Designers Omar Braika and Shukri Lawrence have never hidden what Trashy Clothing stands for. They’ve spoken openly about fighting two battles simultaneously, one for their homeland and one for their queerness, and about the surreal weight of showing in Paris while rockets are visible in the sky back home.
