Studio 84 presents "Inner Stage" at Escuela del Ballet Folklórico de México, a three-day exhibition program running February 2nd through 4th during Mexico Art Week 26. Held in the Guerrero neighborhood of Cuauhtémoc, the event occupies a location where institutional dance practice meets contemporary art presentation.
The program brings together work from UNNO Gallery, featuring Alana Burns, Andrea Vargas Dieppa, and Lucia Echavarria. 6:AM presents new pieces, while CC-TAPIS shows through Sabine Marcelis and Scarlett Rouge. Each space functions independently within the larger architecture of the ballet school, allowing the work to exist in dialogue with a building designed for physical discipline and cultural preservation.
Access remains limited throughout the opening period. Monday, February 2nd runs from 13:00 to 18:00. Tuesday, February 3rd and Wednesday, February 4th operate from 10:00 to 18:00. Registration opens through a link available in Studio 84's bio, with correspondence directed to info@studio84.com.mx.
The exhibition locates itself at C. Violeta 31 in Cuauhtémoc, 06300, CDMX. By staging contemporary visual practice inside a folkloric dance institution, "Inner Stage" positions itself as an inquiry into how different forms of cultural production share physical and conceptual territory. The title suggests both theatrical space and internal observation, a duality reflected in the venue itself.
