Infinito Pratico opens at Palazzina Azzurra in San Benedetto del Tronto on August 1st, running through the 25th. Eleven artists form the core of the project: artetetra_records, Chiara Camilli, kkeewa, Benedetta Fioravanti, Oliviero Fiorenzi, Davide Monaldi, Stefano Ortega, Marila Scartozzi, mulsucht, gi.a.k.a.unprofessional, and Vinicius Jayme Vallorani. Their work sets the tone for a project that treats the practical and the infinite as terms worth holding together rather than reconciling.
Curated by arnbrh and Giulia Sfirro, the exhibition gives structure to something that could easily have stayed loose. Instead, the eleven positions speak to each other inside Palazzina Azzurra's rooms, each artist working through their own language while remaining part of a single argument. The identity carrying this argument comes from Giordano Cruciani, whose graphics give the project a visual consistency that matches its curatorial one.
Beyond the exhibition dates, &more carries Infinito Pratico into the wider territory. For the full month of August, a series of diffused events pulls the project out of the gallery and into San Benedetto del Tronto and its surroundings, turning the town itself into an extension of the show. What begins as a fixed exhibition becomes, over four weeks, a moving one, present in more than one place at once, practical in its reach and, true to its name, difficult to pin to a single point on the map.
