MOLT opens in Paris on March 18 with REHEARSAL #4 - SELF AUDITIONS, presented by Katya Kabalina. The event combines performance and visual work at Cité Internationale des Arts, marking the Berlin-based project's first appearance in the city.
Kabalina's REHEARSAL series examines performance through repeated iterations, each installment testing different parameters and collaborators. This fourth edition pairs her work with pieces by Neckar Doll, creating dialogue between performance and object-based practice. The "Self Auditions" subtitle suggests introspection, performing for oneself, or auditioning without external judgment.
The performance features Noë and Anzhelika. Hosted by Mimo Letnuy. The evening takes place across two rooms at Cité Internationale des Arts: 8425 and 8401. The dual-room setup allows movement between spaces, potentially separating performance from installation or creating sequential experiences.
Cité Internationale des Arts functions as residency space and venue for artists working in Paris. Located at 18 Rue de l'Hôtel de Ville in the 4th arrondissement, the building houses studios and occasional public programs. Using this location rather than commercial gallery or theater positions the event within artist-run programming, accessible to communities already engaged with experimental performance and visual work.
