We are pleased to present When the Feed Ends, a group exhibition bringing together the practices of Anastasia Calinovici, Marta Mattioli and Radu Pandele, Bucharest-based artists who also collaborate in running Atelier 35 Gallery.
On the occasion of the exhibition, the artists have produced a new body of work spanning sculpture, painting and installation, offering a layered reflection on post-internet conditions and the speculative, dystopian imaginaries generated by contemporary systems of mediation.
The exhibition title, When the Feed Ends, operates on a dual register: on one hand, it refers to the endless flow of digital feeds on social media platforms—opaque, self-perpetuating mechanisms through which social tensions, anxieties and power structures continuously surface; on the other, it evokes a possible future moment in which this flow might cease or collapse. In both readings, reality no longer unfolds as a cyclical narrative, but rather as an uninterrupted accumulation of events, images and signals, producing a condition of temporal saturation and persistent instability.
