Your last year’s collection ”Love Letter” plays with gender norms, sexuality, fabrics and craftmanship. Would you say it’s your theme and trade mark in your fashion design?
As a queer person Gender identity and sexuality are natural subjects to question and study. I find it important to question your surroundings and the status quo. For me queer theory is very expressed  in my work as I’m studying it a lot now as it’s nothing you’re taught anywhere growing up - So for me it’s like trying to get to know my ancestry and history to truly understand my own position today.
If I have to define a trademark it would be to working from an experience based point of view. In that craftsmanship comes natural for as I’m an educated tailor from before I started my BA at Beckmans. Also I love adorning the body!

Do you write love letters?
Yes I write love letters all the time in different formats. Usually they end up on my friends voicemails... LOL.

You have studied at Beckmans College of design in Stockholm, right? How was your studies there?
I’d say that Beckmans is a great school in many ways. It’s a very well rounded education and you get explore various approaches to fashion design in terms of method and design development. Also they have the ultimate gem, Maria Ben Saad who is the senior lecturer of fashion theory. She has formed me a lot!

What motivates you in your work?
My friends and the injustices I experience and observe. On a lighter note desire is very important.

What do you think is problematic in the fashion industry?
Oh god what isn’t problematic in this industry. I mean gender stereotyping is very apparent in this industry but I’d say that working respectfully is very forgotten in terms of how people treat one another. More love <3

How old are you and how old do you feel?
I’m 26 and I feel... 26? I don’t think age is that tangible... it gets abstract super fast for me.

Any advice to a previous boss?
Hmmmmmmmmm what a shady question haha
