Amehl AW20

Amehl AW20

Incorporating Mehl's signature dynamic multi-disciplinary approach the collection stood out among jewellery shop counters and red 'for rent' signs. Showcasing a huge range of garments, brand AMEHL demonstrated their versatility and contextualised strategy in the fashion scene.

Utilizing colourful vintage pieces from both 1970s and 1980s, including luxurious velvets, wool cardigans and checkered fabrics the collection shined with sustainability. With a stylised royal approach, the rare colours; persimmon and cerese are seen throughout the collection. Incorporating culture into the collection through embroidery and graphic prints of the Hebrew symbol "Chai: meaning life- as a response to the heightened anti-semetic tone in the world currently."

Reminded of modernised society AMEHL also included genderless pieces catering for all genders and sexualities alongside mixing subversively modest designs with others that "showed a dangerous amount of skin". With a high volume of attitude and timeless pieces, AMEHL's FW20 collection delivered a modernised, nostalgic street style with a hint of affluence and royalty.
