Jean Paul Gaultier FW26

Jean Paul Gaultier FW26

For Fall Winter 2026, Jean Paul Gaultier continued its tradition of inviting guest designers, with Dutch designer Duran Lantink reinterpreting the house’s iconic codes through his playful and sculptural approach. The collection revisited Gaultier’s legacy of subversion and theatricality while introducing Lantink’s distinctive experimentation with form and proportion.

Corsetry, one of the maison’s most recognizable signatures, appeared in exaggerated and unexpected constructions, layered over oversized tailoring and hybrid garments that merged masculine and feminine silhouettes. Trompe-l’oeil prints and reworked denim pieces added a sense of irony, while voluminous shapes and reconstructed materials reflected Lantink’s interest in transformation and sustainability.

The result was a collection that balanced homage and reinvention. By reshaping classic Gaultier motifs through bold volumes and unconventional textures, Fall Winter 2026 offered a contemporary interpretation of the house’s rebellious spirit, demonstrating how its heritage can continue evolving through new creative voices.
