Lou de Bètoly FW26

Lou de Bètoly returned to Berlin Fashion Week with an Autumn Winter 2026 collection presented inside Rathaus Schöneberg, marking a strong statement for upcycled couture within the city’s fashion landscape. Working under the Lou de Bètoly identity, French designer Odély Teboul continued her commitment to transforming found materials into refined, contemporary garments.

Vintage lingerie, lace, knitwear, and leather were reworked into silhouettes that felt restrained yet densely detailed. From a distance, the palette remained muted in tones of black, rose, and beige, but up close the garments revealed intricate craftsmanship: crocheted panels, beaded draping, and elaborate lacing created a tactile richness that balanced delicacy with strength. The collection moved between softness and structure, ornament and restraint.

Upcycling became central to the narrative. Vintage purses were transformed into jewelry-like accessories, while a standout gilded dress was constructed entirely from repurposed jewelry sourced in Berlin. Autumn Winter 2026 reaffirmed Lou de Bètoly’s vision of sustainability as craft, positioning the brand as one of Berlin’s most distinctive and inventive voices this season.
