Henrik Vibskov FW26

At the heart of Henrik Vibskov’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection lies a quiet insistence on presence. The frog emerges as a constant, appearing across heavy knits, graphic tops, and tailored overcoats with calm persistence. This amphibian, often overlooked or dismissed, served as Vibskov’s point of attention during the creative process. Its raw forms and shifting colours became a lens through which he reconsidered weight, both literal and figurative.

Models moved around a circular stage in Copenhagen’s Østre Gasværk Theatre. Their path around musicians and performers echoed the viewpoint of a creature close to the ground. That choice of angle mattered. It invited observers to rethink scale and focus, drawing eyes toward subtle patterns and textured surfaces that recall wetland green and dusky blues.

Sweaters bore frog shapes that could feel playful or uncertain, depending on how they were read. Shirts and light layers bore muted prints with suggestions of pond reflections at dusk, almost like a painter studying dusk light on water. Tailoring offered a counterpoint, bringing structure to oversized forms and knitwear layered over tailoring in unusual combinations.
