Usually upon entering a salon you’re greeted by an overly chipper receptionist an, but luckily here at the Poster Girl AW19 presentation you’re ignored by a cute girl in a 70s inspired purple knit top and what seem to be healing crystal earrings to some 90s clubland classics instead. The unique presentation took inspiration from retro styles, from the collar shapes to the lava lamp and even the swirly typeface of the spa logo. On your right stood models in glitzy party looks accessorized oversized statement necklaces or transparent box bags attached to the hip with chain belts. Towards the back an array of models, including the shoe designer Western Affair herself and a single elderly lady for contrast, are found lounging across various spa equipment with face masks and the Poster Girl embroidered slippers.
