The story begins at SCI-Arc, the Los Angeles architecture school whose circle connects julie to Luigi Alberto Cippini, founder of Armature Globale and creative director of GR10K. His name travelled among their friends long before any introduction, carried by a lecture remembered as closer to a performance, with two-second video clips and harsh noise. Messages followed online, then a visit to his Milan studio during julie's 2025 European tour.

That day Cippini walked the band to the GR10K headquarters, where Anna and Andrea complete the trio behind the label. Hours of trying on clothes and trading ideas followed. A year and a half later, that meeting has become ette x GR10K.

The collection took shape across months of WhatsApp threads and PDF presentations shared over video calls, with weak wifi and several time zones in between. Anna, introduced to the band as the "unfuckwithable" boss, comes from the manufacture of military and police clothing, and her pragmatism set the terms for materials and fabrication. Andrea joined every call with a stream of ideas that matched the band's own sensibility.

The result is a limited run that refines familiar garments through small gestures: a skirt, a scarf, a tunic, a zip-up sweater, and slim field trousers in deadstock Klopman cotton drill, with side zips that open the hem into a flare. Amulet dolls sewn from GORE-TEX deadstock and production off-cuts hook onto bags and belt loops, each one a single piece. ette calls the range "designed for durability and utility; to be paired with anything."

A zine, archive 005 in ette's series, tells the story in the band's own words, and GR10K produced the campaign imagery under the creative direction of Andrea Slaviero. The collection launched on 28 September and reached Paris on 3 October with an evening at Dover Street Market.
