032c SS27
032c brought its womenswear line, 032c Mode, to La Ménagerie de Verre on Saturday 3 October for Spring Summer 2027, a presentation during Paris Fashion Week Womenswear. The collection carries the title STABLE.
Its starting point is a tension Maria Koch names plainly: control and desire, discipline and decadence. Her reference is Neue Sachlichkeit, the New Objectivity of Weimar-era Germany, and in particular the painter Lotte Laserstein, whose women appear athletic and feminine at once, direct yet mysterious, serious even at play.
Riding supplies the vocabulary. Koch competes on horseback, and she takes from the sport its precision and its demand for performance. Clothing works as equipment here, engineered to hold balance, withstand pressure and leave the body free to move. "Equestrianism is a unique interplay of rigor and release," she says, and she carries that interplay into the other arena 032c has always claimed: Berlin culture and the club.
Tailoring is cut close to the body. Riding breeches read as second skins and technical jackets follow the architecture of the torso. Sheer blouses expose where technical fabrics cover, robust cloth meets delicate silk, and evening dresses bring softness and movement. Collaborative pieces developed with DeNiroBootCo and Roeckl Sports carry specialist riding knowledge into the collection, alongside performance eyewear engineered with Berlin design house MYKITA.
STABLE extends 032c Mode, the Berlin brand's women's ready-to-wear conceived as a modular system: a wardrobe its wearers adjust for power or sensuality, function or pleasure, in whatever measure suits them. LIQUI MOLY joined the collection as presenting partner.
