Paloma Wool SS27
Paloma Lanna brought paloma wool back to Paris on Sunday 4 October for Spring Summer 2027, a morning presentation on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar.
Guests received a folded sheet of paper carrying a short text signed Brat Star. It sketches a certain kind of girl met in the city, flower-pretty, walking a cold street at night with a grudge and a frozen tear. The writer admits a fascination with "tragic beauty" and leaves the girl suspended between fortune and constraint.
That portrait gives the season its character. Founded in Barcelona in 2014, paloma wool treats getting dressed as a subject in itself, working with artists, photographers and performers around locally made clothes. For SS27 the conversation starts with a written voice, and the clothes answer it.
The presentation arrives during the label's temporary residency at 51 Rue de Turenne in the Marais, open until the end of the year.
